Description

Carefully preserved in the Winterthur Library collection is Pierre de la Mésangère’s Collection de Meubles et Objets de Goût, published in Paris between 1801 and 1831. The series includes more than 700 hand-colored engravings of furniture, carriages, draperies, and other decorative objects. Mésangère’s publication was influential in popularizing the designs of Napoleon’s decorators, Percier and Fontaine. The Alfred Spot Table is certain to become an important part of today’s living environments that emphasize unparalleled quality and beauty. Available with either Wood Top (HC6494-11W) or Stone Top (HC6494-10S). Ebony Bronze hardware standard. Optional finishes available as 6494-71W. Kohl finish shown.
