Owner, Founder & Designer
Elizabeth “Lizzee” Hill is the owner and founder of Hart & Hill Interiors. After a lifelong love of design, furniture, and all things colorful, Lizzee turned her passion into a business—following years spent at home raising her three daughters and creating spaces that felt both beautiful and lived-in. Hart & Hill, named in honor of her grandmother, is the culmination of her creative roots, her family heritage, and her desire to bring joy-filled interiors to Wilmington and beyond.
Lizzee’s design style is bold, eclectic, and unapologetically full of personality. She thrives on mixing bright, saturated colors with layered textures and warm, storied antiques. Every space she touches is a playful blend of old and new, classic and quirky, polished and just a tiny bit mischievous. She often jokes that her aesthetic is “tastefully unhinged”—and it’s exactly that fearless approach that clients fall in love with.
Her projects are known for feeling vibrant, welcoming, and deeply personal. Whether she’s sourcing the perfect vintage piece, building a room around a daring fabric, or adding a wink of humor where you least expect it, Lizzee brings intentionality and joy to every detail. Customers adore her friendly personality, her disarming charm, and her ability to make the design process feel fun and effortless.
As a mother, a creative, and a business owner, Lizzee pours heart and soul into every corner of Hart & Hill. Her passion for bold design and beautiful living continues to shape the boutique’s signature look and its growing community of color-loving, style-embracing clients.
Manager, Co-Founder & Designer
Holley Roberson is the Manager, Co-Founder, and one of the creative forces behind Hart & Hill Interiors. Holley has worked alongside Elizabeth since 2017, back when she was the nanny for Elizabeth’s children—and long before the dream of Hart & Hill officially came to life. From the start, Holley believed deeply in Elizabeth’s vision and was ready to jump in with both feet. When the boutique opened, she became an essential part of shaping its identity, style, and soul.
Holley grew up around the furniture world; with family in the industry, she spent her life surrounded by beautiful pieces, inspiring fabrics, and the kind of creativity that naturally spills into great design. That early exposure gave her a confident eye and a deep appreciation for spaces that feel layered, lively, and uniquely personal.
Her design style is eclectic, bold, and a little unexpected—in the best way. Holley is a true maximalist with a “more is more” point of view, unafraid to mix vibrant colors, daring patterns, and statement pieces that give a room personality. She loves adding a touch of whimsy to her designs, whether that’s a pop of animal print or a playful critter motif peeking out where you least expect it. Her spaces are joyful, expressive, and full of stories.

Designer & Head Showroom Merchandiser
Ricky Patterson joined Hart & Hill in January 2025 and has quickly become a cornerstone of our creative team. As both a designer and our head showroom merchandiser, Ricky has an intuitive ability to transform spaces—whether he’s crafting a full home design or reimagining the boutique floor. His eye for detail, knack for balance, and natural creativity make him an invaluable part of the Hart & Hill experience.
Ricky is known for his adaptability. No matter a client’s style—classic, colorful, minimal, maximalist—he meets them exactly where they are and elevates their vision with ease. His design approach is thoughtful, flexible, and deeply collaborative. He brings a sense of calm to every project while still keeping things lively, thanks to a personality that blends quick humor with genuine warmth.
As our head showroom merchandiser, Ricky gives the Hart & Hill boutique its signature magic. He understands how to tell a story through color, texture, and placement, creating displays that feel curated, inviting, and always fresh. His ability to see potential in every corner (and every piece of furniture) keeps the store evolving and inspiring.
